Cajun Families is a cultural documentary of a dying way of life--that of the French-speaking Cajun fishermen and women of the great Atchafalaya bayous and swamps.
It contains interviews, tales and recipes from people who have earned a livelihood by fishing, crawfishing, gathering Spanish moss, hunting alligators and turtles, and trapping for more than 200 years. There are 169 duotone b/w photos of these Cajun people at work. (hardbound, 106 pages).
