Illustrated Lectures
Greg Guirard has presented slideshow lectures for many
years, to a variety of social, professional, educational and tourist groups,
including Elderhostel, the Delta Queen Steamboat Company, Smithsonian
tour groups, and schools from Ithaca, NY, to Anchorage, AK.
Greg's programs last anywhere from forty-five minutes to
two hours. Topics include the history and present lives of the Cajun people
of the swamps and bayous, the beautiful and exotic environment of the
Atchafalaya Basin, and wildlife.
Fees for lectures depend on such factors as the size of the audience, distance to travel, length of the program, budget of the contracting organization, and other factors. The programs are always interesting, entertaining, and informative.
